나스의 데이터 복구하기(볼륨을 삭제했습니다)

실수로 볼륨을 삭제했습니다.

시놀로지 DS1618+ 제품입니다. 나스에서 비프음이 발생해서 이것저것 만졌는데요. 어느 순간 파일이 모두 사라졌다고 합니다. 파일이 사라진 이유는 볼륨을 삭제했기 때문인데요. 볼륨을 삭제하고 곧바로 복구를 시도하면 대부분의 파일이 복구됩니다.

볼륨을 삭제하게 된 과정이 로그 센터에 나와 있습니다.

전날 밤에 SSD캐시가 충돌 했습니다. 캐시가 충돌하면서 볼륨도 같이 충돌했습니다.

다음 날 출근하니 나스에서 삐삐 소리가 납니다. 삐삐 소리를 없애려고 이런저런 방법을 시도하다가 볼륨을 제거하는 버튼을 클릭합니다. 아마도 캐시 제거를 시도하다가 실수로 볼륨 제거를 클릭한 거 같습니다.

1분 후에 볼륨이 삭제 되었습니다. 이때부터 나스에 저장한 파일이 보이지 않게 됩니다.

10분 후에 새로운 볼륨을 다시 만듭니다. 볼륨을 다시 만들었지만 파일은 여전히 보이지 않습니다.

아침에 출근했을 때 상태입니다. 캐시와 볼륨이 모두 충돌했지만 공유 폴더의 파일은 보입니다. 볼륨에는 1.79TB 용량의 파일이 들어있는 것을 알 수 있습니다.

볼륨을 제거하고 다시 생성한 후

볼륨을 삭제하는 순간 파일은 모두 사라집니다. 볼륨을 다시 만들어도 파일은 당연히 보이지 않습니다.

소요시간 : 3일    어려움 : ★★★★★

볼륨에 들어있던 파일을 복구합니다.

스토리지 풀 구성은 4TB 디스크 4개와 레이드 5입니다. 볼륨을 사용한 용량은 2TB가 되지 않습니다. 이런 조건이면 복구에 소요되는 시간은 3일 정도입니다. 첫째 날은 디스크 복제하기. 둘째 날은 볼륨에서 파일 찾기. 셋째 날은 찾은 파일을 저장하기 과정으로 진행됩니다.

복구한 파일은 나스에 다시 넣어 드립니다. 전원만 켜면 곧바로 파일을 사용할 수 있습니다. 볼륨을 삭제하면 공유 폴더가 같이 삭제되므로 공유 폴더를 사용하는 권한은 다시 설정해 줘야 합니다.

공유 폴더 이름을 기존과 똑같게 만듭니다. 공유 폴더를 사용하는 권한은 다시 설정해 줘야 합니다.

정상으로 돌아온 나스

파일을 복구하고, 공유 폴더를 다시 생성하고, 복구한 파일을 공유 폴더에 다시 넣었습니다. 이제부터 나스를 다시 사용할 수 있습니다.

캐시가 저하된 이유는?

정확한 이유는 모르겠습니다. messages 파일에는 캐시로 사용하는 SSD와 관련된 오류와 그로 인해 SSD의 사용을 중단하는 내용이 기록되어 있는데요. 얼핏 보기에는 SSD에 고장이 발생한 것 같지만 갑자기 SSD 두 개가 20초 간격으로 고장날 가능성은 희박합니다. NAS를 한 시간이라도 더 빨리 사용해야 해서 원인을 찾는 것은 미루고 SSD 캐시를 사용하지 않기로 했습니다.

SSD는 WD WDS250G2B0B 모델입니다. SSD 자체에 문제가 있는지 확인하려면 SSD를 PC에 장착해서 Western Digital Dashboard에서 테스트해야 합니다.
